Ordering
Do I pay when I submit a custom request?
No. Custom requests are reviewed before payment is required. Once your design has been reviewed, you will receive a personalized quote and payment instructions.
Why does the website say starts at?
Every custom set is different. The prices shown on the website are starting prices. Final pricing depends on design complexity, products used, embellishments, specialty finishes, and time required.
How do I submit design ideas?
Use the custom request form to describe your colours, theme, event, vibe, and upload reference photos if you have them.
Can I order something inspired by a photo?
Yes. Reference photos are welcome, but final designs may be adjusted based on nail length, shape, materials, and what can be realistically hand-created. Stone & Pine does not copy another artist’s work exactly.
Can my final set look slightly different than my inspiration photos?
Yes. Custom press-ons are handmade, so small variations in colour, placement, shape, sizing, art, charms, and finish may happen. This is part of the handmade custom process.
Payment + queue
How long do I have to pay?
Payment links are valid for 24 hours. If payment is not received within that time, the quote may expire and your production spot may be released.
Can I pay by e-transfer?
Yes. Customers who choose e-transfer receive $5 off their final quoted order total. Please include your order number in the e-transfer notes so your payment can be matched correctly.
Can I pay by card?
Yes. If you choose card payment, you will receive a secure payment link. Card payments are charged at the listed or quoted total.
When does my order enter the queue?
Custom requests enter the active production queue only after payment has been received and confirmed.
Can I check my order status?
Yes. Use your order number and email on the Order Status page to see live updates, payment status, quote details, and production updates.
What happens if I do not pay on time?
If payment is not received within the payment window, your quote may expire. You can submit a new request later, but the original spot is not held.
Pricing + discounts
What are your starting prices?
Basic one-colour sets start at $30. Classic designs start at $55, Detailed designs start at $65, and Luxury designs start at $80. More complex designs may be quoted higher.
Why might my quote be higher than the starting price?
Quotes may increase based on design complexity, hand-painted detail, 3D gel work, charms, crystals, specialty finishes, products used, and estimated time.
Do e-transfers get a discount?
Yes. E-transfer payments receive $5 off the final quoted order total.
Can I use a discount code?
Discount codes must be entered or approved before payment is made. If a discount applies, it will show in your quote or checkout total.
Sizing
How do I know my nail sizes?
You can enter sizes you already know, email sizing photos for an estimated match, or request a sizing kit for the most accurate fit.
What is a sizing kit?
A sizing kit includes sample nails in the shape and size range so you can test each nail and record your best fit.
How are sizing kits shipped?
Sizing kits ordered on their own are sent by standard stamped mail for $5 shipping.
Are photo size estimates guaranteed?
No. Photo sizing is only an estimate. Stone & Pine will do its best to suggest the closest match, but a sizing kit is the recommended option for the most accurate fit.
Are sizing issues refundable?
Sizing is the customer’s responsibility. Because each set is custom-made to the sizes provided or approved, incorrect sizing is not eligible for refund.
Shipping + pickup
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes. Local pickup is available and free when selected or approved.
Do you ship?
Canada-only shipping is currently available.
What is standard shipping?
Standard shipping is sent by stamped mail for a lower flat fee. It does not include tracking, insurance, or delivery confirmation.
What if I want tracking?
Please choose tracked shipping. Tracked shipping costs more but includes tracking and delivery confirmation.
Are you responsible for lost untracked mail?
Stone & Pine is not responsible for lost, delayed, stolen, or misdelivered untracked mail. If you need delivery confirmation, please choose tracked shipping.
When will I know my order is ready?
You will receive an email when your order is ready for pickup or shipping.
Returns, refunds + cancellations
Can I return custom press-on nails?
Because each set is custom-made, handmade, and created for the specific customer, all sales are final once work has started.
Can I cancel before payment?
Yes. If payment has not been received yet, you can contact Stone & Pine to cancel your request or use the cancellation option provided in your email when available.
Can I cancel after payment?
Once payment is received and your order has moved into production, cancellations and refunds are not available unless Stone & Pine chooses to approve an exception.
What if my order arrives damaged?
Please contact Stone & Pine within 48 hours of delivery or pickup with clear photos of the packaging and product. Each situation will be reviewed.
Do you offer refunds for change of mind?
No. Change of mind, incorrect sizing, application issues, wear-and-tear, or failure to follow instructions are not eligible for refund.
Use, safety + care
Are press-on nails safe?
Press-on nails are cosmetic products and must be applied and removed carefully. Customers are responsible for following application, wear, and removal instructions.
What if I react to glue or nail products?
Discontinue use if irritation, discomfort, allergic reaction, redness, swelling, or damage occurs. Stone & Pine is not responsible for reactions, injuries, or damage caused by glue, adhesive tabs, improper application, removal, wear, or misuse.
Can I reuse my nails?
Many press-on sets can be reused depending on how they are applied, worn, removed, and stored. Reuse is not guaranteed.
Are designs copyrighted?
All Stone & Pine branding, website content, photos, product names, written copy, and original designs belong to Stone & Pine Nails unless otherwise stated.
