Important note
This page provides general cosmetic press-on nail care information only. Individual results, wear time, adhesive reactions, and removal experiences can vary. Always follow the instructions included with the adhesive product you choose. Discontinue use if irritation, discomfort, lifting damage, or sensitivity occurs.
Before Application
- • Wash hands thoroughly and dry completely.
- • Gently push back cuticles if needed.
- • Lightly buff the natural nail surface.
- • Remove oils using an alcohol wipe or nail prep pad.
- • Make sure nails are fully dry before applying adhesive.
Choosing Your Adhesive
Nail Glue
- • Stronger, longer-lasting hold.
- • Best for extended wear and everyday use.
- • Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
- • Not ideal for damaged, irritated, or sensitive nails.
Adhesive Tabs
- • Easier temporary wear option.
- • Great for events, weekends, or short-term wear.
- • Usually easier to remove than glue.
- • Best when you want to reuse your set more gently.
Application Tips
- • Match each press-on to the correct nail size before applying.
- • Apply adhesive carefully and evenly.
- • Press firmly for 20–30 seconds per nail.
- • Avoid water exposure for 1–2 hours after application.
- • Avoid using nails as tools to reduce lifting, cracking, or damage.
While Wearing Your Set
- • Wear gloves while cleaning when possible.
- • Avoid excessive picking, bending, or pressure on nail edges.
- • Keep nails away from harsh chemicals unless removing.
- • Store reusable sets safely after removal.
- • If a nail feels painful, uncomfortable, or irritated, remove gently when safe to do so.
Suggested Removal Methods
Adhesive Tabs
- • Soak hands in warm soapy water.
- • Apply cuticle oil around the edges.
- • Gently loosen from the sides as the adhesive softens.
- • Do not force or pry if the nail is still firmly attached.
Nail Glue
- • Soak nails in warm soapy water with cuticle oil.
- • Allow extra time for the glue bond to soften.
- • Gently work from the sides only when the nail begins to lift naturally.
- • For stubborn glue, follow the adhesive product’s removal directions.
Removal reminder
Never rip, pull, bite, or aggressively pry off press-on nails. If there is resistance, continue soaking and allow the adhesive to loosen gradually. Forced removal can damage the natural nail.
After Removal
- • Wash hands and gently clean away leftover adhesive.
- • Apply cuticle oil or hand cream to rehydrate the area.
- • Give natural nails a break if they feel thin, sore, irritated, or sensitive.
- • Store reusable press-ons in a safe, dry place.
